Do you like the cards of your favorite Pokémon?

I just had to ask! We all have favorite Pokémon, but what about official trading cards of our favorite Pokémon specifically? What card out of those available ones is your personal favorite? Do you like them?

It's very difficult to choose my favourite trading card, I have favourites for different reasons, whether that's because they were gifted to me, I pulled them fresh from a packet, or I have fun stories of my experience with them. It took me a while to choose my favourite trading card artwork in a different thread, and i've had to think carefully about this one too, else I would be filling the thread with dozens of cards!

For now, I will share one that means something to me, and that's my 1st edition Slowking from Neo Genesis, which I pulled from a pack myself. I have some great memories of getting this card, and being so happy to get such a cool one. I would have snapped a picture of my own card, but I can't get to my folders at the moment. You'll just have to make do with this 😃

My favourite Pokemon is Dragonite and while I never personally owned any cards of this specific monster, I know its arts well. I think Dragonite gets appropriate representation in the various sets, shame that the illustrations tend to be a little "same-y" with him always flying xP but, again, not complaining. The art from Roaring Skies is pretty cool!

I only recently discovered that there was a full art card of regular Vulpix when I randomly came across a JP version at a card store. Had to pick it up for just $5. I've thought about picking up some of the full art cards of Alolan Vulpix, too, but I really liked this one.

bluemooncinco Oh wow what a beautiful card! As much as I love the "vintage" era of Pokémon's TCG, I absolutely love some of these full art cards they do these days. Wonderful!
