I've met Jessie's voice actress Michele Knotz at a convention almost 11 years ago and she was nice! I got a signature from her. And as for the character she plays, Jessie and James have had some great slapstick moments in the anime. They're a great villain team and they've actually had emotional character development over the years. In their boot camp for Team Rocket, or catching Wobbuffet or Victreebel, the anime does a great job of portraying them in a good light.
There's something interesting about Meowth. I've watched the Pokemon anime in both English and Japanese... I cannot stand how grating Meowth's voice is to my ears to listen to in the Japanese version. It's the only reason why I prefer watching Pokemon in English, even though I watch the rest of my anime in Japanese. Has anyone else heard Meowth's Japanese voice?
