Hello. I'm Cless Aileron (but since spaces aren't allowed, my username here is one word). I found my way here from Bulbapedia, my source when I have to look up something Pokémon related.
I'm a guy (almost out of his 30s) that was around during Pokémon's earlier days. I'll keep it brief here since I might want to tell the longer version in other topics. I've knew about Pokémon and how it took Japan by storm in the mid 90s and had some encounters with it before September 1998 where I knew I was going to be watching the animated series and even got Pokémon Red version late that same month when it got released. I've used to hang out on Pokémon forums (TRHQ2, then Serebii.net, then Bulbagarden until I drifted out of it).
I've mostly stuck to playing the games over the years. I tend to think of Pokémon as something I drift in and out coming in. Ever since stuff that happened in regards to Sword/Shield, I ended up majorly drifting out of it for the past five years with only minor interest in certain Pokémon stuff. It's just recently I decided to rekindle some stuff with Pokémon. I'm pretty much saying it like, "I'm back into Pokémon...kinda." I'm mostly indulging myself in stuff before and including Sword/Shield.
I've had a thing for grass type Pokémon, specifically the Oddish line & Leafeon as standouts. Though lately, I've developed a love for Togepi and its line (to the point of having three different plush variations of just this one Pokémon).
Rekindling some stuff with Pokémon is why I'm here. I know there's been so much cynicism when it comes to Pokémon (and well, it's not like Pokémon's the only fandom I'm dealing with cynicism, whenever said cynicism is others or my own). Being that it's a smaller forum, I think I can something where I curb some of that stuff and maybe not feel so committed to constantly checking the forum.
