There are SO MANY manga series out there and it seems that Pokespe dominates the conversation to the point of squeezing the others out. I like Pokespe but I also want to talk about other titles.
My favorite is Diamond and Pearl Adventure! by Shigekatsu Ihara. Eight volumes, self contained Sinnoh adventure, with the female lead Mitsumi being perhaps the most engaging character in the franchise.
