With Pokémon Legends Z-A just a few days away, I wanted to remind everyone that we have a policy in place for discussing spoilers related to the game. These are outlined in Rule 2 of the Johto Times Community Rules.
- 2a. Official announcements and promotional materials that have been revealed by The Pokémon Company and their partners may be discussed freely.
- 2b. Leaks may be discussed, but must be placed within a spoiler tag
- 2c. Upon a game’s release, avoid sharing major plot points, surprise reveals, or anything that could ruin the enjoyment of the game for others, until six weeks after its official global release. (Use spoiler tags.)
- 2d. Users should keep all discussion about the game to its dedicated board. Users wishing to avoid spoilers should avoid said board, minimising the risk.
- 2e. When in doubt, use caution with a spoiler tag.
I have also been informed that the game has been leaked in full online. We are requesting that people do not discuss the contents of this leak across the forum, until six weeks after the game's global release has passed. While we hope to avoid them, and we are sure that everyone will agree that this policy is fair, bans will be given to any users failing to adhere to them.
We hope that with this in place, everyone will be able to enjoy the game, with a reduced risk of coming into contact with anything which may ruin the enjoyment of the game.
