Favorite card art?

There's been some absolutely stunning artwork in the TCG over the years. I thought we could share our favorites here! (Most of mine will be from older sets because I haven't been following the newer expansions.)

I love this Neo Discovery Espeon. The pose is so elegant and the color scheme is serene. I never owned this card but I wish I did.

Neo Destiny's Light Dragonair is another one of my favorites. Dragonair is one of my favorite Pokémon to begin with, and it's just portrayed so nicely in this illustration.

I'm a huge fan of Mitsuhiro Arita's work for the TCG, and Base Set Abra is a great example. It just looks so cozy dozing under a tree on a relaxing evening, and the color palette is really pleasing, rather sunset-like.

Darren I'm not really sure; I always see it in Machamp's page in the Spanish wiki, so I assume it's official. The style is very similar to other Dream World/Global Link artworks, so it may be related to that.

Thanks for sharing! Those are some fun cards. I love the wide range of styles and moods in TCG art.

I also really love Neo Destiny's Shining Celebi. The pose and lighting are so dramatic and it gives a sense of power beyond Celebi just being a cute little forest fairy. I remember seeing this card in an unofficial magazine, in an article about Neo Destiny before it released in the West, and just fell in love with it.

Sometimes I wish they'd take the TCG art and make it into full-size posters so I could hang them on my wall. The tiny trading-card rectangle just doesn't do them justice.

Recently, I've fallen in absolute love with this Twilight Masquerade set Eevee card.

It's so incredibly cute and I'd love to own one. Can't see it happening, but maybe eventually! I'm so biased towards full art cards that have multiple of the featured Pokémon. <3

Sheep Oh wow this is so beautiful! I do recall seeing this card when it launched, but since I don't collect most modern sets, it's not something I would ever see in my own collection (mostly Wizards of the Coast era cards and Ruby/Sapphire - Black & White era)
