TRsRockin was a Pokémon fan website that focused on Pokémon glitches and Team Rocket. The website dates back to December 2000, and provided Pokémon-specific content, and later focused on glitches in other video games. The website remained online until 2005.

Back in September 2024, I published an interview with TR Rose, the webmistress of the website.

I found out about this website from a video by hazel and subsequently this old romhack called Pokémon Aqua, which otherwise has no documentation online. There's not even a oatch to be found; just an already modded rom from Wayback machine. I would like to write about it sometime.

I spent so many hours on TRsRockin when it was around, especially on the bootleg sections; this is where I learned of the infamous "Pokemon Diamond and Jade" (i.e. Telefang Speed and Power).

It doesn't look like it was archived, but I remember sending in an anecdote about my first The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening cartridge that had been corrupted into oblivion. (In hindsight, it may have had to do with exploits that can break the game if not used carefully.)

Ohh, I loved this site back in the day. This was when Gen 1 glitches were still unknown and unfamiliar territory, when it was still widely believed that catching Missingno. would wreck your save file. I still remember catching an A, seeing it turn into a Rhydon just as the site said it would, but I noticed I saw its Pokédex entry before this happened, and I'm thinking to myself, hey- what if it's the dex entry that does it? After all, I never saw a dex entry for Missingno. when I caught it and it wasn't turning into Rhydon. So I did the Mew glitch again and caught another A, and sure enough, no dex entry, and it didn't become a Rhydon. I then sat there shoveling Rare Candy into it, and writing down its level-up moves with a pen and paper before submitting them to the site. I remember being blown away when it tried to learn Transform!

Lots of good memories with TRsRockin'. As a kid I was a regular visitor of the glitch section, lapping up every discovery made, so thanks for your contribution MissingnoMaster. The bootleg section held my interest too. It's a little bittersweet because via Pokémon Diamond and Jade, it introduced Telefang to a wide audience of Pokémon fans, but it really dissed those games. I don't doubt it was in comedic rather than mean spirit, but the young fanbase back then lacked the critical comprehension to analyze the original games and echoed the negative sentiment for a while. That is all in the past now though.

I had already found the site again and bookmarked around 2021-2022, but only this January did I notice the fake Pokemon page and remember where some of the ones I put on a Paint file back in 2007 came from.
Foundno, Rorym, Tentacold and Tentafreeze were among the fakemon sprites I put there from various sites.

Porygon 3.1, Mechtoise, Ribo (Deoxys pre-evo), Enkousuchi, and Kimuasty (alt Grovyle evo) were ones I had long forgotten until then.
