Personal Battle Highlights?

As someone who always had a group of friends interested in battles, and numerous copies of Pokemon Stadium 2 with Transfer Paks amongst us, I've always been curious what sorts of fun, improbable, or clutch moments other people have had in various battles over the years.

A number of past memories of my own were noted in a recent issue of the Johto Times (Vol. 3 Issue 40 if anyone is interested), but I have plenty more. I'll post a few here and look forward to hearing those of others, too!

My cousin once defeated my Tyranitar with his Butterfree even though he couldn't deal any direct damage to me. His only attacking move was Psychic, but he'd already put Leech Seed on me with the last move from his previous Pokemon, and paired that with Supersonic and Sleep Powder for one of the most frustrating losses of my life. We still joke about it to this day!

I have a Dragonite that once tanked an Ice Beam from a Lapras in a battle against a friend, surviving with 5 HP. I had a few levels on her, but only a few since we were playing Poke Cup rules, so it was definitely surprising.

My first battle against the champion in FireRed ended in the most cinematic way possible - I had only my starter Charizard left, and I'm pretty sure he had 1 HP, against the rival's Blastoise, and then managed to KO it with a Blast Burn.

I also once had a physical link battle with my cousin on Gold - only the link cable started to fall out, resulting in a desync that manifested in some glitch nonsense. I believe it went something like this:

My Feraligatr was facing his Scizor. I used Surf, but he chose to switch to a different Pokémon. However, while the switch went through on his game, it didn't on mine; on my game, Surf hit, and Scizor fainted.
We are very confused. One way or another (probably he progressed the battle on his end by using some move with the Pokémon he'd switched in), on my game, he sends out a pink Butterfree with a glitchy line through it. The Butterfree appears to be named PSN, although it may have actually been that it has no name but is poisoned. (He did not have any kind of Butterfree on his team.)
At this point, I freak out and shut my game off because I'm worried it's going to mess something up.

I've also had some great battles while training boxes of Pokémon in exchange for being super underleveled - in Emerald I remember finally figuring out how to beat Norman using some extremely convoluted combo involving an Aron (about the only Pokémon I had that could survive an attack from his Slaking) and a Pokémon with Leech Seed (which would heal my super underleveled Pokémon fully in the two turns between Slaking attacks). I forget the full details, though.
