Darren It's definitely odd of them to be rushing the DLC out like this, but honestly, next year is the 30th anniversary of Pokémon. There is no chance we don't get Gen 10 next year. So they can't just devote a whole year to hyping up and then releasing the DLC like they usually do. I don't necessarily agree with it, but I can understand if that is indeed their logiç. Either way, I'm gonna have me some fun with this DLC, I have no doubt. 🙂
And from what I've seen, it looks like the whole Hoopa donut thing might be used to temporarily boost our own Pokémon's levels beyond 100. It makes sense for it to be temporary, and it still fits with the Missingno. parallels- in Gen 1, if a Pokémon over level 100 gains any experience points, it "grows" to level 100. My first ever level 100 was a Golbat in Red that was level 128 when I caught it.
