Pokémon Symphonic Evolutions (London, 2015)

One of my most cherished Pokémon related memories is when I visited London ten years ago, to see Pokémon Symphonic Evolutions, a touring orchestral Pokémon concert. Hearing six generations of Pokémon titles, the number released at the time, was quite something! As a huge fan of video game music and orchestral music, this was the absolute perfect opportuntiy!

I was lucky enough to see PSE two different times! Hearing Ecruteak City's theme performed by a full orchestra was really something special.

Oh I went to the one the day before! Is it really coming up to ten years already...

It was incredibly fun, there was such a good atmosphere. Likewise on it being a very cherished memory. I've been to many, many conventions before with tons of Pokémon fans, but it felt really different being at the concert for some reason, seeing so many Pokémon fans in one place made me really emotional. And of course, the music was played fantastically.

What a fantastic memory, and that's awesome that you got to watch rehearsals, too! I'm a huge fan of symphonic music as well (my cat suffers through long hours listening to classical radio with me), so an orchestra playing Pokémon music is a real treat for me. Sounds like a magical evening!
