An interesting little question! Does anyone in your family like Pokémon? Maybe they're interested in playing or collecting the cards, or are a mainly Pokémon GO-only player. Let us know!

Sheep My nephew played Platinum when he was little and collected cards but he wasn't as into it as I was.

My brother likes Pokemon, although I don't think he likes it as much as me. I've gotten both versions of a gen so that he can play the other game. I had Diamond and he had Pearl, I had White and he had Black, I had X and I gave him Y. He also plays the Switch games on his profile. He played Sword and he bought himself Let's Go Pikachu, but the profile he bought it on was no longer working with his Nintendo account so he removed it from the Switch and it's not accessible anymore. He collected the cards too and we watched the anime together when it was airing on TV in the mornings. He has Pokemon merch too, like a Mimikyu tall drinking glass.

My seven-year-old nephew made a Pokéball out of Lego to show me when I came to visit once - I don't think he's played any of the games himself, but he's clearly familiar enough by osmosis to do that!

Other than that, nope, unless you count my husband (who used to play the games and collect the cards as a kid, but is now mostly into it by proxy because I am).

EDIT: Wait, I'm forgetting my cousins who got me into Pokémon when I was a kid - they both kind of got out of it later, but one started playing Pokémon Go when that came out and then rewatching the anime, so he at least should definitely count.

My niece plays casually. At least she can recognize several Pokémon, but she was surprised when I told her there are other regions besides Galar. Funny, since I have never played a game set in Galar.

I have two cousins who used to play when they were kids, but stopped playing a long time ago.

And my brother played Pokémon Red with me and then briefly played a Pokémon RPG on TPM many years ago (he came up with an inn named The Pacing Ponyta, which he assures me was not an intended LOTR reference), but these days his contact with Pokémon is almost as casual as his daughter's. I think he played a Pokémon trainer on Super Smash Bros at least once, and he occasionally makes Pokémon-related remarks.

My brother plays all the mainline games, and some of the side ones. He’s been into it for almost as long as I have.

My cousin (who I'm close with) plays as much as I do (all the mainline games and some side games)! We are both trans in opposite directions (I'm transmasc and she's transfem) and my family was a kind of "video games are for boys" family, so she got a DS and a Pokemon game a lot earlier than I did. I was SO mad about it (and still kind of am, tbh) especially because I'd been a fan for longer-- mostly because I'm a couple years older, though.
My dad and stepmom I think play GO sorta actively nowadays, but they made fun of me for my interests so much growing up I don't want to talk to them about it anymore lol 😅

I have a "niece" who is almost 5. She can't read yet, so she can't really play any of the games, but she knows about Pikachu and told me that in the next Pikachu game they'd be fighting dinosaurs. She'll occasionally ask me questions about what evolves into what. Her mother plays PoGo and back when we dated she used to call me a casual because I didn't know what Team Valor was.
